About this position
On-call duties will be specific to the facility in which the locum is assigned and may require the Locum to be always rostered either on call or available on call when not in attendance. The Locum engagement will include some administration, teaching of medical students and supervision of junior doctors. Roster subject to change at the discretion of the facility Director Medical Services or delegate. Mandatory Queensland Health Aged Care Check required for placement in a Multipurpose Health Service.
Requirements
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS2) Certificate
- Current QH Scope of Clinical Practice (SoCP) letter if relevant. Benefits: Return economy class airfares within Australia for one person
- return kilometric allowance from home to the facility
- self-contained QH staff accommodation or suitable hotel/motel accommodation
- fleet vehicle provided for locum use.
