About this position
FRACGP, FACRRM or FRANZCOG with Emergency Department experience required. Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia via AHPRA. Appropriate obstetric and emergency credentials and experience. Current neonatal resuscitation and emergency management skills. ASL2 (or equivalent – “RESP”) is a standard requirement for SA Credentialing – Booking confirmation/evidence will be accepted if within 3 months of placement for interim credentials. The service provides low-risk maternity care within a collaborative Midwifery Group Practice model. 24/7 on call for Obstetrics. 5 births expected from July – October within the region.
