Consultant positions require GESA.

Car hire and accommodation allowance: $150.00 per rostered day plus one additional day prior to arrival. Travel allowance: reimbursement of one direct economy class return airfare up to $1000.00 AUD per contract
or kilometric allowance of 37.5 cents per kilometre
up to a maximum of $1000.00. Additional flights for extended contracts may be negotiated. Locum practitioners living locally (within 50km) are not entitled to the allowance. Land travel to and from the departing airport is the doctor's responsibility. Fleet cars are not available to locums and travel expenses incurred during placement cannot be claimed.
