About this position
First week: providing medical services to the Rehab unit (16 beds), weekly MDT and 2 main ward rounds, smaller rounds on other days, memory clinic once a week. Second week: providing medical leadership to the Hospital in the Home Community Aged Care (HITH CAC) team, provision of medical and multidisciplinary input to the 22 virtual beds in the community, specialist medical oversight of the virtual beds program within nursing homes (first oncall provided by a GP), education and support for junior medical staff and MDT members. Registrar and RMO support. Roster: Monday to Friday 0800-1630.
