Accommodation provided and travel up to $800 reimbursed (flights or mileage only).
Moree Hospital is a level 3 facility, with 35-60 ED presentations daily. The Emergency Department has 4 beds and an upright assessment chair, and you’ll provide solo onsite care whenever patients are present. The hospital draws on Tamworth as its main referral centre for advanced care.
Our VMOs cover a range of specialties and are required to work across multiple clinical areas—for example, ED and Anaesthetics. Your expertise and flexibility will be essential in delivering high-quality care to our diverse patient population.
Stay in our onsite self-contained one-bedroom apartments or enjoy a stay at the Albert Motel.
Moree is known for its artesian hot springs, friendly locals, and rich cultural history. When you’re off-duty, take a dip in the thermal pools, explore nearby national parks, or enjoy the scenic drive to Inverell, Narrabri, and Tamworth.
