About this position
Anaesthetics. ?
Clinical handover at 0800 with outgoing or incoming anaesthetist on the ward or by telephone.
?
Provide anaesthesia services at allocated theatre lists, including eye blocks.
?
Provide pre-admission clinic services as scheduled.
?
Provide on-call anaesthetic and regional anaesthesia services including epidurals across the facility
?
Provide critical care services including airway management, ventilator support and haemodynamic support at the facility.
?
Provide vascular access support across the facility.
?
Provide pain services across the facility.
?
Provide neonatal resuscitation services.
?
Participate in rapid response, trauma and cardiac arrest services across the facility.
?
Participate in the training and supervision of students, junior medical officers and registrars.
?
Participate in morbidity and mortality meetings, MDT meetings and other clinical meetings as requested.
