ED Day Shift. ED Day Shift – covering Parkes ED from 0745 to 1815 the doctor will be required to be onsite for these hours except for two 30 minute breaks during this time. A full clinical handover is expected to be carried out between ED doctors at shift changes.
Parkes is a procedural hospital seeing approximately 32-35 patients per day through ED. Anaesthetic Cover on-call.
Parkes Hospital has a capacity of 27 beds and 2 birthing rooms. Of the 27 beds, three are maternity beds and two are high observation beds. Emergency departments have five beds and one Resus Bay.
The doctor’s agency will organise a hire car for use by the doctor during his time at Parkes.
