About this position
Travel reimbursed and accommodation provided if required.. The Doctor will be working as a Sole Practitioner in the ward with direct telephone links to Lismore Base Hospital Consultants. The locum will be supported in the Hospital by very experienced Senior Nurses in the ward and ED staff – Specialist (FACEM) who is rostered every day and ED RMO. The ED Medical Officers assist with any ward emergencies and cover the ward after hours.
The Doctor may also be asked to assist with emergencies in the ED while on duty as will the ED Doctors assist with any emergencies on the inpatient ward.
A provider number is required for Casino Hospital.
