GP VMO ED + Primary Care Clinic + Best Practice Software. GPVMO ED: Tottenham
Locum Doctor must hold FACGP or FACRRM Certificate
Role information: GP with Emergency Department Experience, managing locum placement in Rural GP Practice with on call for 12 bed PHS with ED.
GP Practice Hours 0830-1700 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Hospital On-call requirements:
– 0700-1800hrs: 1st on-call for all Triage Categories, inpatients and residential aged care
– Being sole doctor for primary care clinic (weekdays only)
– 1800-0700hrs: 1st on-call for all Triage 1-2 patients and any deteriorating inpatients, VRGS to support triage 3-5 patients during this time. Available to attend for any patient at the request of a senior nurse, VRGS or vCare regardless of triage or inpatient status.

Requirements
- GP with Emergency Department Experience. Must have completed Rural eMeds training and provide certificates prior to commencement. Medicare Provider number requirements: The Doctor needs to have full billing rights under Medicare Provider Number for both Practice and MPS Information on site: Tottenham is a 12 bed MPS with 2 ED
- 4 acute
- 6 residential aged care beds on site. Hospital approximately 5 presentations each day and minimal inpatients. NSW Ambulance Service are co-located. There is a Foodworks Supermarket but if you have any specialty items please ensure you purchase those before arriving in Tottenham. Tottenham is a 90 minute drive from Dubbo Airport where there is a Hospital Vehicle is waiting. Tottenham see approximately 25-30 patients per month. Tottenham MPS has pathology services
- community health and allied health services. GP presentation 20-25 a day software Best Practice Accommodation details: 4 bedroom house 2 blocks from Hospital Travel and Car Hire: A Hospital Car is available for your use whilst in the T’s. Travel to be booked by agency.
