About this position
On-call duties will be specific to the facility in which the locum is assigned and may require the Locum to be always rostered either on call or available on call when not in attendance at the hospital. The Locum engagement will include some administration, teaching of medical students and supervision of junior doctors. Rosters are subject to change; changes are at the discretion of the facility Director Medical Services or delegate. It is a mandatory requirement for a Queensland Health Aged Care Check to be completed should the locum medical be placed in a Multipurpose Health Service. This process can take 4-6 weeks to complete.
Requirements
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS2) Certificate
- Current QH Scope of Clinical Practice (SoCP) letter (if relevant). Benefits: Return economy class airfares provided or return kilometric allowance

- suitable hotel/motel accommodation if not staff accommodation
