About this position
GP Obstetrician (GPO) will be required to work in the Emergency Department. 10-hour shifts, including weekdays and weekends. On-call 1:2 or 1:3. Fatigue breaks and flexible practices supported. Meal breaks unpaid; minimum 30 min break required. Flexible, 10-hour shifts (weekdays and weekends). On-Call: 1:2 or 1:3 (Included in the daily rate). All new Locums to our HHS will require IeMR training if not already trained. This will be face to face at the Townsville University Hospital. Which is weekday only. A working day will be no less than 8 hours. Meal breaks are not paid, and the Locum Medical Officer is required to take at least 30 minutes unpaid meal break per shift.
