About this position
The role involves a combination of support to the Inpatient Unit and Crisis community team. 12 bed adult Inpatient Unit supported by a full-time Psychiatry Registrar and an Intern. Consultants’ participation in the on-call roster is welcome but not mandatory. There is always a Psych Registrar on-call with the Consultant Psychiatrist, so the Psychiatrist only receives an occasional call from the Registrar. The only time it is necessary to be recalled into work is on occasion on Saturday or Sunday mornings.
