About this position
This role is available as 3 days per week or full time hours. Monday – Friday or 3 days per week. On call component applicable – presented doctors will be required to be on call (approx. once a fortnight). Single weeknight (Monday through Thursday – included in daily rate) or a weekend (Friday/Sat/Sun – close availability payment applicable for the Saturday and Sunday). All on-call is supported by a first-on-call Registrar. Weeknights generally comprise telephone support only. Weekend days often require a 1-3 hour attendance at the site, to review new inpatient admissions. Call-ins are paid at a rate 1/10th of the weekday rate, up to a maximum of the weekday daily rate. Presented Psychiatrists must have 6+ years Australian experience, psychiatrists with less experience may not be considered/engaged or attain maximum daily rate of $2800 day. All compliance requirements must be met before commencing: Valid WA Working with Children’s Check. Mandatory Reporter Training certification. Further compliance documentation required, to be discussed on engagement.
Benefits
- Accommodation to be reimbursed up to $200 per night; agency to coordinate. Accommodation will be reimbursed for 4 nights per week if doctor chooses to work 3 days a week. Car hire (up to $60 per day) or mileage allowance available if WA based (0.88c per KM). Car hire will be reimbursed for 4 days per week if doctor chooses to work 3 days per week. Flights to be reimbursed (up to $1500 return) on receipt of invoice.
