Macksville District Hospital is a rural healthcare facility serving the township of Macksville and surrounding communities in the Nambucca Valley region of NSW. Operating under Mid North Coast Local Health District, Macksville District Hospital opened in 2020 following a $73 million development, replacing the older hospital with modern infrastructure and enhanced capabilities. The facility serves a population of approximately 12,000 people across the Nambucca Valley. Macksville District Hospital offers allied health services, community health programs, and specialised clinics tailored to local needs. The hospital maintains connections with larger facilities in Coffs Harbour, approximately 40 kilometers to the north, through established referral pathways and telehealth capabilities.
