About this position
Work between Mental Health Observation Area (MHOA) and ED Liaison. Monday to Friday. On call component as rostered: single weeknight (Monday–Thursday) or a weekend (Friday/Sat/Sun). All on-call is supported by a first-on-call Registrar. Weeknights generally comprise telephone support only. Weekend days often require a 1-3 hour attendance to review new inpatient admissions. Call-ins are paid at a rate 1/10th of the weekday rate, up to a maximum of the weekday daily rate. Presented Psychiatrists must have 6+ years Australian experience. Psychiatrists with less experience may not be considered or attain maximum daily rate of $2800 day. All compliance requirements must be met before commencing: Valid WA Working with Children’s Check, Mandatory Reporter Training certification, further compliance documentation required.

- Accommodation reimbursed up to $200 per night; car hire up to $60 per day or mileage allowance if WA based (0.88c per KM); flights reimbursed up to $1500 return on receipt of invoice
