About this position
Must be available for mix of shifts including nights (8am to 6pm, 10am to 8pm, 7pm to 4am and oncall until 8am). If locum refuses to work night shift a lesser amount will apply. Recognisable level GP clinics and Inpatient care experience. Competency to undertake and cover night shifts up to 30% of working session. Confidence on handling frequent mental health presentations and drug and alcohol complications. Prospect of regular or long-term commitments. Roster will consist of shifts in ED, Ward, Clinics and external clinics. GP Specialist Qualifications (FRACGP and/or FACCRM) OR in the absence of a GP Specialist Qualification, the CMP must be assessed as a (senior) HBMP AND considerable Emergency Medicine experience in a rural setting – must be PGY6 and have 3 full years experience in Aust/NZ in Emergency Medicine. Current ED CME qualifications e.g., NNR, ALS2, ATLS, APLS, PROMPT, EMST, EMET, Rural Emergency Simulation Training (REST).
