Benefits
- Car hire and accommodation allowance provided ($150 per rostered day plus one additional day prior to arrival)
- travel allowance (reimbursement of one direct economy class return airfare up to $1000 AUD per contract
- or kilometric allowance of 37.5 cents per kilometre
- up to $1000 maximum)
- original receipts required
- additional flights for extended contracts may be negotiated
- local practitioners within 50km not entitled to allowance
- land travel to and from departing airport is doctor's responsibility
- fleet cars not available
- travel expenses during placement cannot be claimed.
