About this position
On call component applicable – presented doctors will be required to be on call as rostered. Single weeknight (Monday through Thursday – included in daily rate) OR a weekend (Friday/Sat/Sun – close availability payment applicable for the Saturday and Sunday). All on-call is supported by a first-on-call Registrar. Weeknights generally comprise telephone support only. Weekend days often require a 1-3 hour attendance to review new inpatient admissions. Call-ins are paid at a rate 1/10th of the weekday rate, up to a maximum of the weekday daily rate. Presented Psychiatrists must have 6+ years Australian experience, psychiatrists with less experience may not be considered/engaged or attain maximum daily rate. All compliance requirements must be met before commencing: Valid WA Working with Children’s Check, Mandatory Reporter Training certification, further compliance documentation required, to be discussed on engagement.
Benefits
- Accommodation to be reimbursed up to $200 per night; agency to coordinate. Car hire (up to $60 per day) OR mileage allowance available if WA based (0.88c per KM). Flights to be reimbursed (up to $1500 return) on receipt of invoice.
