OVERVIEW
• Paediatric shifts available at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital
• WWBH has a 15-bed paediatric unit, in addition to 8 beds in SCN (from 32 weeks) and a mixed Emergency Department
• There is 24 hour paediatric JMO coverage with mix of SRMO, BT and ATs, plus daily morning and evening shift resident cover
• Responsibilities include managment of children ranging from neonates to 16 years of age, attending high-risk births if JMO requires support, providing phone support to peripheral sites as required
. Will be a mixture of 12 hrs nights and days.
